Yesterday, Harmonix attended the Construction, Utilities and Built Environment Jobs Fair in Ilford, where we had the opportunity to meet more than 60 potential candidates interested in beginning a career in the construction industry. Our Joint Managing Director, Darren McQuibbon, and Senior Project Manager, Matt Brown, spent the morning speaking with people from the local community about the industry, the opportunities available at Harmonix and what a career in construction could look like for them. We have already received some really interesting applications, and it was fantastic to meet so many enthusiastic people looking to take their first steps into the industry. We were delighted to welcome a number of guests to officially mark the commencement of the construction phase of works for the scheme. Project highlights: Two blocks containing a total of 6 units. 88274 sq ft total area of all units on site. Works continue at pace at the Port of Tilbury London, with the roofing and cladding now complete and external door installations underway. This progress has enabled the commencement of the external staircase installation and the formation of the hopper slab. Internally, electrical works are advancing well, with the lighting installation in progress. Externally, we are approaching completion, with weighbridge foundations next on the programme. The project remains on track and is currently forecast to be delivered ahead of the contract completion date. Credit to the site team and wider supply chain for maintaining safe, coordinated progress.
