Harmonix have been appointed by Chancerygate to deliver a £6.6million multi-warehouse scheme in Witham, Essex.
It provides for the demolition of an existing outdated warehouse, and the construction of 10 industrial warehouse units with associated mezzanine space, car parking, service yard, and landscaping on a self-contained site at Wheaton Road in Witham.
It will take on a BREEAM assessment rating of ‘Very Good’ with PV Panelling, 20 EV charging points, and LED lighting. The project will use a Low Carbon Design while working with Cudd Bentley to create a Low or Zero Carbon study.
Project Director Darren McQuibban said: “Harmonix prides itself on long-term customer relationships and partnerships built upon the principles of trust and understanding. We ensure that the positive relationships that we forge with our clients, and design team, are also developed with our sub-contractors. On that basis receiving this instruction is testament to the continued relationship we are building with Chancerygate and we are proud to be delivering for them again”.
Harmonix will continue the Carbon Monitoring amongst the supply chain to continue our development in reducing our Carbon Footprint.
In conjunction with this, we intend for the scheme to achieve a Biodiversity Net Gain by including wildlife-friendly landscaping including green infrastructure, as well as housing various species of birds, bats, and smaller insects, in line with the Essex Biodiversity Action Plan.
The scheme will commence on 08th August 2022 with completion due early May 2022.
